1. Who we are

Valdivia Tours organizes group and private tours, boat trips, transfers, and transport and boat services departing from Valdivia, Villarrica, Pucón and Panguipulli, Chile.

2. Bookings and payments

• Advance notice: bookings are made at least 24 hours in advance; for departures sooner than that, ask us on WhatsApp.
• Bookings are requested through the form, the cart or WhatsApp, and are confirmed by us.
• Land tours: the booking is confirmed with a 20% deposit of the tour price; the balance is paid on the day of the tour.
• Boat trips: paid in full when booking.
• Transport and boats: the price is quoted according to route, duration, date and number of passengers. They are confirmed with a 20% deposit of the quoted price and the balance is paid on the day of service. The same rescheduling and cancellation policy as for tours applies.
• Payment methods: Transbank (Webpay), bank transfer, cash, and Purchase Orders for institutions through Mercado Público.

3. Group tours

Group tours require a minimum of 4 people. Your spot is subject to confirmation once that minimum is reached. If it is not reached, we offer to reschedule or to run the tour as a private one.

4. Rescheduling and cancellation

• 48 hours or more in advance: free rescheduling or refund.
• Between 48 and 24 hours before: a charge of 20% of the tour price may apply.
• Less than 24 hours before, or if you do not show up without notice: no right to a refund or rescheduling.
• If we cancel, or because of weather conditions: free rescheduling or a full refund.

5. Weather and safety

Tours and boat trips depend on the weather and navigation conditions. If they are not safe, we reschedule. On boats, the authorized capacity is never exceeded.

6. Hotel pick-up

On land tours we pick you up within the urban area of the departure city. Outside that area an additional cost applies depending on the location. Boat trips do not include hotel pick-up.

7. Passenger responsibilities

• Be on time at the agreed meeting point or accommodation and bring your ID document.
• Tell us when booking if you travel with children, older adults, reduced mobility or dietary restrictions.
• Follow the instructions of guides and crew.

8. Minors and alcohol

The sale and consumption of alcohol to anyone under 18 is prohibited. Children and teenagers can join the beer tour and taste kombucha.

9. Entrance fees and expenses not included

Some services do not include entrance fees to parks or forts, drinks or personal expenses. We tell you what is included in each tour.

10. Activities with external operators

Rafting, canyoning and similar activities are carried out with certified operators under collaboration agreements, subject to their own safety conditions.

11. Changes to these conditions

We may update these terms. The version published at the time of your booking applies.
